Beverstedt lighthouse project makes further progress

Last year, we presented our plans for the Bokel solar park in the Cuxhaven district of Lower Saxony in detail to the local politicians in Beverstedt. We received approval for the preparation of a corresponding development plan for the land in the spring. The members of the environmental committee of the Beverstedt municipal council also voted unanimously in favor of the project.

The current project planning still envisages two planning areas with a total capacity of approx. 55 megawatts on the territory of the municipality of Beverstedt. (learn more under News – Jun. 21: Great interest in the 55 megawatt solar park in Bokel)

Our project developer Felix Kandsorra finds himself in late September for a meeting with the district. “In the best case, we obtain an individual permit for the project to move it forward even faster,” says Felix Kandsorra. After all, the planned new edition of the state’s regional planning program is not expected to be ready before 2024, according to the responsible county department head.
